Summary: We purchase domains and email addresses to run various campaigns for clients. These email accounts are then connected to BuzzBuilder for email delivery.


Domains: Our first priority is to purchase the .com for the domain. If .com is not available, use .net or .us. Only purchase a 1 year license for the domain.


Email accounts: Purchase a package called Outlook Essentials. Currently email accounts are $1.99 per month if paid annually. If this price is available, purchase a 1 year subscription. Otherwise, if this price is more than $3 per month, purchase a monthly subscription.


Instructions:

Search for a domain suggested by the Project Manager. Add to cart. Then on the top right corner of GoDaddy, click on the menu icon, and then select Email and Office. On the next screen choose Professional Email. Then scroll down and click Add To Cart button under Email Essentials. If you need to purchase several email accounts, you will change the quantity in the shopping cart when you check out.


Checkout:

Click on the shopping cart icon at the top right corner of the screen. For the domains, change the default license from 5 years to 1 year. For Email Essentials, change the quantity if needed. During the checkout process, you can decline any of the upsell offers such as “added security”, “website builder” or “anonymous domain”. 


Use corporate credit card on file ending in 0442. CVV code (if needed) is 480. Zip code for card is 55431.


NOTE: After completing the checkout process, occasionally GoDaddy will display an error message that will make it seem like it did not complete the checkout. However, before attempting to check out again, go to My Products (explained below) to see the status of the purchase--most likely, you’ll notice that the new domain and email accounts were actually purchased successfully.


Setting up your new Domains and Email Accounts

You will need to set up the email accounts first, and then you can set up DNS for the domain.

Email Accounts: 


Email Account/s: Go to GoDaddy My Products dashboard and click on the multiple dots on the top left beside My Account. Choose Email $ Office. Click on the Add User box. Type the domain that you want to use for the email address. Click Continue. Type in the Username (only the names the domain is already populated). Provide details for First and Last names. For Admin permissions, you may either choose Yes or No (recommended to choose Yes). Then Create new password (always use Buzzbuilder123! as default)  Send account info to : admin@buzzbuilderpro.com. And click CREATE. It will take a while to create. After email is set up, ou can now proceed to add DNS records for the domain.
